The tan can last up to two weeks. Factors for how long the tan last include: what products you use on your skin, how often you workout and shower, and if you are moisturizing with a DHA lotion.
You will want to shave and exfoliate 12-24 hours before your tan. If you need to shave after your spray tan, we recommend using hair conditioner instead of shaving cream.
You will want to wear loose clothes immediately after the spray tan.
No! You will need to use a water based sunscreen if going into the sun with your spray tan. It does not protect you from getting burnt.
You will want to use an exfoliating mitt in the shower to get off dead skin cells. This is best used in combination with a sugar scrub. We sell both exfoliating mitts and sugar scrubs at the studio. A loofa and/or washcloth does not exfoliate the skin.
Disposable panties and bras are provided at no extra cost. Pasties and hair nets are also provided. You may go nude or bring your own underwear/swim suit to wear as well.
You may get a rapid or traditional solution. If you get rapid, you can shower in as little as 1-3 hours after the appointment depending on how tan you would like be. If you get a traditional solution, you will shower 12 hours after the appointment.
NO! The sunless industry has come a LONG way since it was brought into the beauty market. The solution I use is very high quality and I will prepare a custom mix based on your undertones and how you tan in the sun naturally to give you the perfect tan.
We have a range of color options so you can achieve the lightest or darkest tan depending on what you are wanting.
The actual spray tan itself takes about 5-10 minutes when you’ve done as many as we have. We do allow for 30-minute appointments for new clients because we would never want anyone to feel rushed and we also allow extra time for any questions. Returning clients typically take 15-20 minutes.
It is recommended to book 2-3 days before an event and 1 day before vacation. Brides should book 2 days before wedding to ensure all of the bronzer has time to wash off and set into the skin.
